Set of Two Vintage Olfaire Fish Plates – Made in Portugal
Set of Two Vintage Olfaire Fish Plates – Made in Portugal
Bring timeless coastal elegance to your dining or display with this set of two vintage ceramic fish plates, crafted in Portugal in the distinctive style of Olfaire. These mid-century plates feature a beautiful bluish-green glaze, a glossy finish, and finely molded fish-shaped designs—perfect for serving seafood, summer entertaining, or as decorative wall pieces.
Influenced by Art Deco, nautical, and Mediterranean aesthetics, these plates add an ocean-inspired charm to beach house tablescapes or vintage ceramic collections.
While one plate bears the original Olfaire stamp (model P644) on the underside, the second plate is unstamped but matches beautifully in design, tone, and craftsmanship—likely produced during the same period.
Dimensions & Condition:
-
Stamped Plate (P644): 10" long x 6" wide. This plate has a small chip on the underside of the rim (top edge when viewed from above) and a tiny blemish on the tail.
-
Unstamped Plate: 9.5" long x 8.5" wide. In good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
Both pieces remain highly decorative and functional, making them an ideal addition to any coastal-inspired home, seafood service set, or collection of vintage Portuguese ceramics.
